Description
I started writing this abstract in 2023 under the mentorship of Hyo Lee as part of the Google CS Research Mentorship Program. The research idea originated from my work with Sarah Pratt during undergrad. I later built upon this idea within D3G: Diverse Demographic Data Generation Increases Zero-Shot Image Classification Accuracy within Multimodal Models improve how multimodal models perform when classifying demographic information within images.
The abstract was completed and submitted to AAAI-2024 on the AAAI-UC track. In addition, I turned this abstract into a poster which I presented at the same conference (see presentations). This abstract set the foundation for what would become my undergraduate honors thesis (see publications).
